Leisure Pools Beaufort is a second-generation, locally owned pool builder with deep roots in the Lowcountry. It all began in 1973 when Jerry Sutcliffe, father-in-law to current co-owners Tony Greco and Graham Jones, launched Sutcliffe Pools alongside his two brothers. Initially specializing in liner pools, Jerry quickly became a pioneer in fiberglass inground pool installations by the 1980s. Over the decades, Sutcliffe Pools earned legendary status for exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a dedication to customer service that built lasting relationships across the region.
When Jerry retired, Tony and Graham stepped in to carry on the legacy. In 2017, they assumed leadership and launched a new era with the rebranding of the business as The Pool Company. Their vision honored Jerry’s legacy while introducing a fresh, modern approach that resonated with today’s homeowners. By 2018, the company had gained rapid momentum, continuing to deliver the high-quality service customers had come to expect — with a renewed energy and personal touch.
To further align with their passion for fiberglass pools and to offer even greater value to customers, Tony and Graham partnered with Leisure Pools and rebranded once again as Leisure Pools Beaufort. Backed by the innovation and product excellence of one of the world’s leading fiberglass pool manufacturers, Leisure Pools Beaufort now combines five decades of local experience with the strength of a globally trusted brand.
